As a staff we are committed to making your dental experience in our office the best it can be from the moment you call until you leave our office with the first class dental care you desire for yourself and your family.
Cheryl - Treatment/ Benefit Coordinator
As your Treatment/ Benefit Coordinator Cheryl takes great pleasure in walking with you through the different aspects of your dental care. Knowledgeable in dental procedures, she will gladly explain proposed care, including different options that may be available to you. She will also provide you with information on fees and any anticipated insurance benefits you might expect. To help you receive the care you desire, Cheryl will gladly provide you with financial information as well as different financing options for you to consider. In the dental field since 1968, Cheryl has been with Dr. Karhan’s office since 1993. Outside the office she has a “card ministry”, making her own personalized cards. She also enjoys scrapbooking, especially creating albums of family.
Karen - Scheduling Coordinator
Scheduling Coordinator - Karen is responsible for most of the patient scheduling in our office. Her goal is to provide you with appointments for the treatment you desire at the times that are most convenient for your schedule. In dentistry for 5 years, she especially enjoys the smiling faces of our patients. She enjoys counted cross-stitch, sewing, and working in her yard.
April - Preventive Care Coordinator
In 2006, April rejoined our staff after taking off two years following the birth of her twins. She is here to assist you in scheduling appointments and to help you maintain good oral health through regular exam and hygiene visits. Outside the office April enjoys reading, counted cross-stitch and playing board games.
Chris - Treatment Assistant
As our primary treatment assistant, Chris plays an integral part in assuring your comfort during your time in our office. Her skills as an assistant are invaluable in allowing Dr. Karhan to provide the outstanding care we are thrilled to deliver. At home Chris enjoys counted cross stitch, sewing, and reading by the fish pond in her back yard.
Stephanie - Treatment Assistant
Stephanie is the newest member of our dental team, having joined our staff in January of 2009. She looks forward to meeting you in her role as a chairside assistant. Outside the office Stephanie is active in her church worship and young adult ministries, and enjoys reading, photography, and traveling in her spare time.
Becky – Registered Dental Hygienist
Becky received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from The Ohio State University in 1994. Go Buckeyes!! She has been with Dr. Karhan since 1996. One of the things she particularly enjoys about being a hygienist is all the relationships she has developed with her patients over the years as she has helped them enjoy good dental health. A new mother in 2006, Becky and her husband, Roy, have been blessed with a baby boy named Sawyer. She also enjoys playing with her dachshund, and raising a variety of farm animals including chickens, goats, and rabbits.
Sue Ellen – Registered Dental Hygienist
A Registered Dental Hygienist, Sue Ellen has been with Dr. Karhan since 1987. During that time she has enjoyed seeing her patients and their families as they have grown up. Helping people improve and then maintain good dental health gives her great satisfaction. She lives in the area with her husband and four children. Most of her free time is spent keeping up with her children's busy schedules. She enjoys traveling and family activities.
Diana – Insurance Coordinator
Diana spends much of her time at the office interacting with insurance companies. Her goal is to be familiar with your particular insurance coverage, functioning as your advocate to help you receive the benefits to which you are entitled. At home she enjoys flower gardening, painting, and sewing.
